Russell has been locksmithing in Auckland for 25 years at 4 different companies- the last and latest his own "Family Business" Genesis Locksmiths Ltd.
Russell Smith met Denise Ann Wilcox while racing mountain bikes in Nelson and they were married 4 months later in July 2003.
Almost 2 years later Denise was 6 months pregnant and together we decided to start
our own business Genesis Lock Services Ltd offering Outstanding Levels of Quality and Service in the Locksmith Industry.
On September 20th 2005 at 5.04am our son Graham Patrick Smith was born and life was suddenly unfolding to even greater things.
Two years later on September 11th 2007 at 7.50pm our daughter Zared Jean Smith was born,to fill our hearts and home.
We have now been in business for 6 1/2yrs and I still enjoy the "word of mouth" referrals that started this business and are still bring 90 percent of our business.
In may 2009 we changed the company name to Genesis Locksmiths to clarify our place in the market.
I would be omitting facts if I said we had done this alone,we couldn't have done any of this without the ongoing support of my great friend and mentor Paul Faint & his family. Together we make a great team and love our clients, as everyday we work with you and laugh with you we can enjoy what is important to us. FAMILY. Your's and our's
